My Journey into Metaphysical Studies

Alongside my personal experiences with dowsing rods and tracking the moon phases, I began to feel a deeper pull - a desire to understand the spiritual and energetic world I was starting to experience so vividly. I craved a more structured way to explore the unseen, to give shape to what I was feeling, sensing, and intuitively knowing.

That’s when I discovered Natural Energies College and their Practitioner in Metaphysical Studies course.

Why I Chose This Course

There were a few key reasons this course felt like the right path:

• The course content aligned perfectly with what I was already curious about - energy healing, divination, psychic development, the chakra system, and of course, moon magic.

• It was within my budget, making it a realistic and empowering investment in myself.

• It was fully online, which allowed me to study around family life and personal commitments.

• Most importantly, it’s accredited by the Australian Counsellors and Holistic Health Association, giving it credibility and opening future pathways for me.
  

In short - it ticked every box.

My Learning Journey So Far

One of the most powerful parts of this journey has been how life keeps mirroring the lessons - like the universe is leaving breadcrumbs just ahead of each module. The synchronicities have been too aligned to dismiss.

Just before my studies officially began, I went to lunch with my aunt and - seemingly by chance - we wandered into a secondhand bookshop next door. There, I discovered a book about a woman’s spiritual awakening and how she developed her intuitive gifts. That book introduced me to the concept of spiritualist churches - something I hadn’t even known existed.

I looked up a local church and found they offered free weekly gatherings focused on developing psychic abilities. I started attending and was introduced to practices like flower readings, hands-on healing, prayers for protection, and universal laws of energy. These sessions were incredibly valuable - not only for the practical teachings, but for the opportunity to sit in circle with others at all stages of their spiritual journey. It gave me a grounded, real-world connection to everything I was learning online.

Choosing to complete my Reiki I & II alongside the metaphysical studies brought its own kind of magic. The training itself was deeply transformative, but the true gift came in the form of three incredible women I met during the course. Each brought their own wisdom and energy, and our connection was instant. In many ways, we were mirrors for one another. We practiced energy work together, exchanged healings, and held space for each other as we navigated our unique paths. These friendships were exactly what my soul needed - and a gift I will always carry with me.

More recently, I attended a psychic conference which included workshops on; runes, past life regression, symbol reading, and numerology, all aligning with my up and coming final course units. Yet again, perfect timing. It felt like the universe was guiding me every step of the way, whispering, “Yes, you’re on the right path.”

This journey has shown me that when we commit to the path, the path rises to meet us. What began as an online course has unfolded into real-world experiences, soul-aligned connections, and moments of divine timing that made me feel completely supported.

Looking Ahead

This is only the beginning.

I know in my heart that I’m on the right path - and that every synchronicity, every connection, and every nudge has been part of a greater unfolding. I’m excited to keep learning, growing, and share this knowledge with others who are awakening and ready to begin their spiritual journey.
